Addressing US governors today Donald Trump criticised first responders to the Parkland gun massacre that claimed 17 lives, and insisted if he had been outside he would have run in, with or without a firearm.

Trump also insisted that in coming up with a solution to school shootings that are happening so regularly it’s on a weekly basis, the governors gather at the White House had nothine to fear from the National Rifle Association (NRA) who were on their side. The NRA also happen to be on Donald Trump’s side, having spent around $50 million to help the Republicans win the White House in the last election.

After the President’s boasts that he would have run into the school unarmed, many reminded Trump that he had avoided serving in the armed forces during the Vietnam War due to “bone spurs” in his foot which made it difficult for him to run…

Trump said today that he’d have run into that school even if he wasn't armed. Really? With his bone spurs? A fart in his general direction.

"I really believe I'd run in there even if I didn't have a weapon," Trump said, according to The Associated Press. I believe you, Captain Bone Spurs & I really believe that due to an unexpected write-in vote, I'll win an Oscar this Sunday. #ItsFunToPretend

The only running Trump ever did was away from the Draft Board during the Vietnam War. Boy, did he ever run. Bone spurs and all. pic.twitter.com/bOy3SYK8zF
