Council meeting coordinator Jackie Weaver shot to viral stardom due to footage of her booting Handforth Parish Council members who had lost their cool off of a Zoom call in December last year.

Nearly everyone knows the story, but here is a little recap, below.

The meeting was the second time chair Brian Tolver had been removed, having previously been evicted from the earlier 7pm Planning and Environment Committee.

The 7.30pm extraordinary meeting began with an unseen councillor mumbling “f*** off” under their breath.

Mr Tolver refused to recognise the legitimacy of both meetings.

He told meeting clerk Jackie Weaver, from the Cheshire Association of Local Councils, to “stop talking” and “you have no authority here”.

In response, Jackie Weaver removed Mr Tolver from the Zoom call and placed him in a virtual waiting room.

Hair

Now she has graced the internet again, this time asking for beauty tips.

Posting on Twitter, the Handforth Parish council star delighted fans for their opinion on how she should she should style her locks.

“Opinions please – curly or straight?” she asked.

Her personal query was met with a flood of responses.

Journalism in Britain is under threat. The government is becoming increasingly authoritarian and our media is run by a handful of billionaires, most of whom reside overseas and all of them have strong political allegiances and financial motivations.
