Murder victim named – Kwasi Anim-Boadu, 20, repeatedly stabbed in Finsbury Park

A man repeatedly stabbed to death in an early hour knife attack has been named as Kwasi Anim-Boadu.

The 20-year-old was found with stab wounds in Finsbury Park on Saturday morning but died where he had collapsed.

A 21-year-old man, was also found stabbed nearby and the stabbings are being investigated by murder squad detectives.

Scotland Yard said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) at around 3am on Saturday, 21 April, to reports of a stabbing on Seven Sisters Road.

“Officers and London’s Air Ambulance attended the scene. A 21-year-old man was found at the scene suffering from stab wounds.

“A short distance away, Kwasi was found suffering stab injuries on Roth Walk.

Kwasi Anim-Boadu. Detectives investigating a murder in Finsbury Park have named the victim as 20-year-old Kwasi Anim-Boadu. 

“Despite the efforts of medics, he was pronounced dead at the scene at 3.43am.

“A 21-year-old man was charged on Sunday with possession of an offensive weapon. He appeared in court on Monday, 23 April.

“A 27-year-old man was arrested having attended a central London police station on Wednesday, 25 April.

“He has been bailed until a date in late May, pending further enquiries.

“Anyone who witnessed this incident is asked to call police or call Crimestoppers anonymously.”
