A disgraced police officer is facing jail after he admitted using official computers to flirt with women.

PC Jason Farquhar, 44, pleaded guilty to six counts of misconduct in a public office and misusing force systems.

Farquhar was working at Northamptonshire Police when he contacted the women.

Prosecutor Grace Hale told Northampton Crown Court said: “The defendant was not deterred from forging or trying to forge an improper relationship that involved flirtations and inappropriate comments.

“He did not have the opportunity in five of these cases to develop the relationship further because the women did not want it.

“In all of these cases, he would not have made contact with them if he were not a police officer.”

Judge Rupert Mayo told Farquhar he faces prison.

Farquhar, of Stamford, Lincs., will be sentenced on Tuesday (11/9).
