It’s officially a month until Christmas. With the countdown well and truly underway, the rush to look your best for the festive period is at the top of many of our to-do lists. With office Christmas parties and get-togethers with family and friends coming up, it’s the perfect time to pop in some cosmetic TLC before the holiday season fully commences.

To get you ready for the festive season we have compiled a list of quick fix non-surgical treatments to get you looking your best before donning your party frock.

4 weeks to go..

With just under 4 weeks until the big day, toning your problem areas may seem impossible, but there are various cosmetic treatments out there that can help you improve the look of body, and reduce your unwanted areas of fat. Coolsculpting is one of the most popular and effective treatments, and you can start to see results within the month, making it perfect for your festive makeover.

Coolsculpting reduces unwanted fat cells by cooling them to a temperature that destroys the cells so they can be removed from the body naturally. Due the fact that the fat cells actually freeze at a higher temperature than nerves and muscles within the body, the treatment can eliminate the fat without damaging the muscles or nerves. Coolsculping is wonderful treatment to try in the run up to the festive season, as the results of the treatment improve over time but it also usually provides visible results within a month.

But what do the experts say? Magdalena Kwaitkowska, the clinical director of Cavendish Clinic & Medispa in London called Coolsculpting is an effective procedure.

“It’s perfect for this time of the year as the aim of the treatment is to improve the look of small-medium areas of stubborn fat that many of us want to ditch in the run up to the Christmas period,” said Magdalena, who is also a medical aesthetician.

“Whether looking show-stopping at your work Christmas party or feeling wonderful with your friends at your annual Christmas meal is what you’re hoping for, Coolsculpting treatment is the perfect solution to looking svelte and sexy.”

2 weeks to go..

As we arrive at the 2 week mark in the run-up to Christmas, this is the time to consider tackling any unwanted lines and wrinkles you may have gained as a result of a stressful year. A non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatment is the perfect choice if you’re hoping for Christmas quick fix, and they can help you look radiant in time for the inevitable family snaps you’ll be posing for. Aside from energy-assisted rejuvenation treatments like Exilis Elite, signs of ageing can get a little help from muscle relaxing injections – such as Botox -or dermal filler treatments which smooth out your lines. The two week run up is the perfect time to book in for your non-surgical facial rejuvenation as any slight swelling or bruising you may experience as a result of treatment should have subsided, leaving you to enjoy your youthful, smooth skin, according to Cavendish Clinic’s Magdalena.

“Non-surgical facial rejuvenation is the perfect option for those looking for a quick fix solution to their ageing skin. The treatments, in the right hands, provide almost instant results and require very little recovery time, which is great as you can get ready for the festive season without missing out on any valuable preparation time at home.”

1 week to go..

With just a week to go until Christmas you’ve probably got a long-list of things to finish before you can relax with your family. Take some time out to pamper yourself too. If there’s a new dress you’re planning to wear over the festive period you need to make sure your legs are silky smooth so you feel as good as you look. Laser hair removal might be the perfect answer, says Cavendish Clinic’s Magdalena Kwaitkowska.

“Laser hair removal permanently reduces – and in many cases totally removes – unwanted hair in order to leave patients with smooth, hair-free skin for good. Just think, no more time consuming or painful waxing sessions,” she says.

“A week to go is a great time to sit a laser hair removal treatment as the results will be perfect in time for the big day, and require no upkeep over the holidays. Permanent hair reduction is also a practical, time-saving option in the long-run.”

All of the treatments listed above are available at Cavendish Clinic and Medispa in London. If you would like more information or you wish to book a consultation with one of the Cavendish medical professionals visit www.cavendishclinic.co.uk
