Nigel Farage has lashed out at “hoaxers” following speculation that just 21 people attended his first US tour date in Pittsburgh – with six of them part of his own entourage!
Social media users had been sharing an evenbrite link to the “America’s Comeback” tour, encouraging people to register even if they have no interest in what he has to say.
Inspired by K-pop fans who disrupted Donald Trump’s Tulsa rally last year, they managed to inspire thousands of people to sign up, leaving the former Ukiper with a sparse crowd of 21 people (14 net), according to reports.

In unrelated news 2981 people registered for the event but I assume they must have had some trouble getting there.
Hitting back at the movement, Farage tweeted that it’s “no surprise” that the “cancel culture mob” are trying to damage his six week tour which he says “calls for free speech”.
“The hoaxers who have booked fake tickets to my events in America have overplayed their hand,” he wrote.
“Thanks for the publicity, free speech will win.”
Pictures shared with KentOnline by Farage’s team appear to show far greater numbers in the audience in Pittsburgh.
One post shared by Dercy Teixera shows in excess of 100 people in the audience, rather than the thousands promised, a tweet which was shared by event organiser FreedomWorks.
