The Japanese technology firm offered its ‘deepest apologies’ to subpostmasters and their families in a fresh statement on Thursday.
It would be a fraction of the £2 billion Fujitsu will take out of the Horizon IT system over the lifetime of this contract.
All four episodes of the series had TV audiences of at least nine million.
