The six-month trial will see 70 UK companies - including a local chippy - work a four-day week.

The trial follows the 100:80:100 model: 100 per cent of the pay for 80 per cent of the time, in exchange for 100 per cent productivity.
Holyrood has set aside a £10 million fund to trial the move to a three-day weekend.
