Boris still believes he didn’t break the rules as Westminster awaits Gray

Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson is a British politician and writer serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since July 2019. He was Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs 2016-2018 and Mayor of London 2008-2016. Johnson has been Member of Parliament (MP) for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015 and was previously MP for Henley from 2001 to 2008. He has been described as adhering to the ideology of one-nation and national conservatism.
The PM "genuinely believes he didn't break any rules", one loyal MP told The Times.
"Put it this way, if Boris Johnson i still prime minister by the end of the week, I'd be very surprised", one source said.
The deputy PM declined to confirm that Sue Gray's report will be published in full this week.
Just £1.4 billion will be available for bus "transformation" - less than half of what Johnson promised.
Mark Spencer denied Nusrat Ghani's accusations, and accused her of defamation.
The prime minister had been planning on marrying her long-term partner in the coming weeks.
Chief Whip Mark Spencer admitted that Ghani was referring to him, and denied her claims on Twitter.
"I'll believe Sue Gray is independent if the whole report is released to the country at the same time as Johnson gets his hands on it."
