Steven Gerrard’s side will play the first leg of their first qualifier at the Victoria Stadium.

Rangers will begin their Europa League campaign against St Joseph’s in Gibraltar next Tuesday, July 9, UEFA have confirmed.

Steven Gerrard’s side will play the opening leg of their first qualifier at the Victoria Stadium and the match will kick off at 5.55pm local time (4.55pm UK time).

St Joseph’s’ local rivals, Europa, beat Sant Julia 6-3 on aggregate to secure a home meeting with Legia Warsaw in their next qualifier next Thursday.

The Victoria stadium is the only arena in Gibraltar suitable for European matches and thus St Joseph’s, who finished behind Europa and Lincoln Red Imps in the league last season, have to move their fixture against the Light Blues forward two days.

The return leg will be at Ibrox on Thursday, July 18 with a 7.45pm kick off.
