The attempt to top internet searches to read the Labour manifesto was instantly condemned. It comes after the Tory party was given a slap on the wrist by Twitter for changing its profile to look like a fact checking service during the leadership debate on ITV.

This has turned out to be an “asymmetric election” where Jeremy Corbyn does not need to win a majority but Boris Johnson does.
Mr Corbyn was seen as more trustworthy, more likeable and more in touch with ordinary people by undecided voters than by the electorate as a whole.
The Royle Family star changed his account to "the Conservative Press Orifice", congratulating Jeremy Corbyn for "clearly winning the debate".
