Yvette Cooper tore into Suella Braverman during a barnstorming conference speech in Liverpool today.

The shadow home secretary pointed to the chaos of the Conservative administration in her address to delegates, noting that we have had no fewer than seven people in the job that she is vying for, and “two of them were Suella Braverman”.

In a bruising blow, Cooper said the current occupant of the position is the “only person who could make you want to bring back Priti Patel”.

Ouch!
