A suspected serial bomber blew himself up in his car as police surrounded him.

Texas police have identified the man suspected of being behind a wave of bombings in Austin Texas identified as Mark Anthony Conditt.

Detectives are still investigating if the man behind the manhhunt acted alone. Two people have died and five have been injured in teh boimbing spree which started on March 2.

“This is the culmination of three very long weeks for our community,” Austin Police Department Chief Brian Manley said during a press conference, adding there had been “far too many tragedies in the last few weeks.”

Another package bomb was found in a  FedEx distribution centre soon after theConditt blew himself up.
