The outrageous wealth of World politicians has been revealed in a new study which ranks our very own Boris Johnson and David Cameron amongst the wealthiest politicians in the World.

Using a range of different sources, Lottoland has rounded up the likes of Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Vladimir Putin and more to analyse just how much money each of the politicians has to their name, with some surprisingly contrasting results.

Russian President Putin is reported to be worth an astronomical £164 billion, which eclipses his next closes rival Silvio Berlusconi, who still has a tidy £5.7 billion in his coffers. North Korean supreme leader Kim Jong-Un is thought to be worth £4.1 billion despite ruling over a country that regularly suffers from famine, and this year’s outspoken Republican leader Donald Trump shows his orange face in at number four, with a reported worth of £3 billion.

Boris Johnson (152 million) and David Cameron (£41 million) also made the list, as did Nigel Farage (£2.5 milion).

Journalism in Britain is under threat. The government is becoming increasingly authoritarian and our media is run by a handful of billionaires, most of whom reside overseas and all of them have strong political allegiances and financial motivations.

Our mission is to hold the powerful to account. It is vital that free media is allowed to exist to expose hypocrisy, corruption, wrongdoing and abuse of power. But we can't do it without you.
