Murder Squad cops are probing the fatal shooting of the passenger of a Mercedes that crashed in to a row of parked cars in broad daylight.

Police say the man in his twenties was pronounced dead at the scene in Hillingdon, north west London, and the driver was arrested.

The area remains cordoned off following the incident yesterday (THURS) afternoon.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “A murder investigation has been launched in Hillingdon after a man was found in a car with fatal injuries.

“Officers were called at 2:43pm on Thursday to Uxbridge Road at the junction with West Drayton Road.

“A Mercedes was reported to have collided with a number of parked vehicles.

“A male passenger, in his 20s, was found in the Mercedes suffering from a suspected gunshot injury.
