Another murder inquiry is underway in London after a man was stabbed to death.

The victim was found with multiple stab wounds near a tube station just before 10pm on Saturday night.

Police have sealed off a nearby park and roads near Turnpike Lane station in north London.

More than 70 murder inquiries have been launched in the capital since Christmas.

Scotland Yard believes the latest victim, who has not been named, was stabbed on Ducketts Common.

Witnesses near the busy Tube station watched in horror as medics performed CPR on the victim.

Matthew Smith tweeted: “Around 10 police vans at Turnpike Lane. Paramedics doing CPR on someone lying on the pavement. Horrible scenes.”
