Elon Musk’s mum posts birthday images that are actually AI generated

Tragic.

What’s the worst birthday you’ve ever had? Well, no matter how many people didn’t turn up or whatever you drunkenly did in the early hours, rest assured that you will never have quite as tragic a birthday as Elon Musk had this week.

He’s the world’s richest person and for a brief period of time last month he was a trillionaire. But all that money can’t buy you friends or popularity outside of X.

If you need any proof to remind yourself of this, just look at his birthday celebrations.

This week, Musk turned 55. To celebrate this, his mother, Maye Musk, took to X to post a birthday message.

Sharing a pictures of Musk blowing out candles on a rocket-themed cake, Maye wrote: “Happy birthday to my wonderful son.

“Elon Musk has given me 55 years of joy. It’s so much fun to celebrate with family and friends.

“His cake is a rocket and a Moon base.”

But just when you thought Musk might have spent a rather wholesome day with his mum, enjoying a cake she’d lovingly prepared for him, the tragicness of the situation dawns on you: the pictures might not even be real.

Underneath the post was a clear label pointing out that AI had been used on the post.

That’s not all though. Some of you may be re-reading the words posted by Maye Musk and noticing that they don’t sound very human.

In fact, they sound pretty robotic.

Well, you wouldn’t be alone in thinking this. Many on X believe Musk is so lonely and unlovable that the Maye Musk account is actually being controlled by him.

This is just sad. He's tweeting from an account he runs pretending to be his mum, using an AI slop birthday photo.

1) elon musk obviously runs his mom's account

2) instead of getting real pictures of family, he uses ai to generate them

3) that ai tag only appears when you use something other than grok to generate a picture so he doesn't even use his own product

4) this is all so dire… https://t.co/CbknHxjdPx pic.twitter.com/hE3AQ9QizK

Whatever the truth, it doesn’t look like many friends and family were present for Musk’s 55th.

As the man himself admitted earlier this year, money truly can’t buy you happiness.
