A Brexit-led spoof of the Titanic is going viral on social media.

The animation, created by Josh Pappenheim, depicts the famed sinking scene and includes politicians from across the spectrum.

It leads with Boris Johnson’s speech that “Brexit means Brexit, and we are going to make a Titanic success of it”, before cutting to the sinking of the ship as shown in its namesake film.

David Cameron stars alongside Nigel Farage, Michael Gove and Theresa May.

Jeremy Corbyn gets a nod as the violinist and Johnson js hauled off the ship masquerading as a baby.

The Brexit bus even gets a cameo along with the tumbling pound.

Journalism in Britain is under threat. The government is becoming increasingly authoritarian and our media is run by a handful of billionaires, most of whom reside overseas and all of them have strong political allegiances and financial motivations.

Our mission is to hold the powerful to account. It is vital that free media is allowed to exist to expose hypocrisy, corruption, wrongdoing and abuse of power. But we can't do it without you.
