Christmas may still be almost 50 days away, but it’s never too early to get in the festive spirit.

This year will see brands battling it out for exposure on the TV with the eagerly anticipated John Lewis ad always a hit and other high street retailers pouring tens of millions of pounds into capturing the heart of the nation.

Currys PC World has today unveiled their brand new, first-ever Christmas campaign; Spare the Act. Featuring acting legend Jeff Goldblum, the ads aim to demonstrate that Currys PC World understand Christmas doesn’t always live up to our idealised expectations at times, and sometimes we need to act to maintain the Christmas spirit. The campaign features five different executions and each one will break over five different days, starting on air from today (Thursday 5th November).

Jeff Goldblum said: “I’m delighted to be involved in this clever and timely campaign that will hopefully help people find the perfect holiday gifts for the people they care about most – without all the risky guesswork. It’s so disheartening to put your heart and soul into a gift choice for a loved one only to discover they have three of them already – and don’t use any of them ever.”

Take a look at the hilarious Christmas ad here:

And if you have a bit of time, check out these out takes!
