With mass-hysteria last week as Alexander Wang x H&M hit stores worldwide, the collection was the latest in a long line of designer collaborations with the Swedish high street brand, 10 years’ worth, in fact.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of high end partnerships, H&M released a book, The First Ten Years, chronicling the collections from Karl Lagerfeld in 2004, to Jimmy Choo, Lanvin, last year’s hit, Isabel Marant plus everyone else in between. With dedicated chapters for each designer, the book gives an insight into the creative process of each collaboration and shares behind the scenes photos and tidbits.

Take a look back at ‘the first ten year’s of collaborations; how many did you camp out for? Or did you end up begrudgingly paying over the odds on eBay?

The First Ten Years is available to buy from H&M stores for £7.99.
