Central London, Bond Street, 5.30pm, people, people ev-ery-WHERE. Although just the thought of this can be stressful, I ask you to picture taking a sneaky right down a tucked away side street from Bond Street where you’ll find Daiva Beautyhouse, a little haven just waiting to pamper you fabulous.

I was greeted by Daiva herself who made me an authentic green tea, allowing the stress of Bond Street to ooze away. With relaxing music playing and the warmth of the treatment room, I was prepared for a relaxing, massaging, moisturising facial. But let me tell you – that’s not how we do it in 2018!

I am (very luckily) blessed with good skin, I don’t tend to suffer with spots, I’m young so I don’t have too many wrinkles yet (*cry*) so I was unsure what Daiva would do to my skin to provide me with that extra glow. After filling out a intricate form and Daiva inspecting my skin she pointed out all the parts of my skin that needed a bit of TLC, and discussed that although I had good skin there were certain areas that could be a lot healthier and hydrated, so it was then time to lay back and relax.

The facial started the way I assumed it would, however I was slightly alarmed by the large piece of machinery looming next to the massage bed and I kept reassuring myself ‘that’s absolutely not going to be for my face’. Little did I know that was just the start of it.

Slightly worried, the therapist walked me through each step of the way as she started by applying serum which is full of Vitamins A & C. She informed me that would normally soak only into the top layer of skin, however with this golden roller she would then use, it would push the hydration into my skin 10,000x deeper, leaving my skin smooth and dewy. During these cold winter months my skin really needs that moisture, therefore it drank up the serum like a gal with 2-4-1 cocktails.

And it didn’t stop there, Daiva then applied a white rubber mask which covered my entire face – if you are claustrophobic I’d advice keeping your mouth uncovered like I did. The sensation was uber satisfying. Daiva continued to roll the magnetic roller over the whole face again. After a few minutes of  rolling, I was then left to relax. This is when the average beautician would leave the room or sit quietly to the side, however Daiva is first class and adds her own touches to the process by treating my hands to a wax mask and then an upper body massage. I have decided I need to hire Daiva and have her with me at all times of the day whenever I feel stressed so she can treat me to another divine massage!

Daiva is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to skin and all things beauty related, I could ask her any question and she had the answer. What I liked most about her and her ethics of work is her backstory. She has suffered from problematic skin in the past and that’s the reason she changed her whole career path from a Graphic designer to become the founder of Daivas Beautyhouse. Daiva’s main aim is to help other people feel confident and comfortable in their own skin.

Albeit a pricier way to look after your skin, it is completely natural, high quality and such a rejuvenating process, I’m already thinking when I can book in my next session. The facial itself was incredible, and I have seen a difference over the following week, for example my skin wasn’t as red, my cheeks were fuller and without make up I didn’t look as scary as I did before!

The main selling point to me is Daiva. She is a complete natural at everything she does and truly is passionate about skincare, therefore you know if you’re going to her for a treatment you are in the best hands possible.

If you are suffering with skin problems, want to learn more about how to care for your skin, or just want a luxurious pamper, Daiva Beautyhouse is your one stop shop, and can offer everything from facials, to make up, HD brows and massages.

If you’d like to book an appointment (which I’d advise you do!) or follow Daiva’s helpful tips, and discover everything she can offer you click on the following link http://www.daivabeautyhouse.com/blog/ and you can thank me later!
