Situated within Bethnal Green’s Town Hall Hotel, it’s the sublime ingredients that take center stage at Peg + Patriot. Across the bar’s menu you’ll find the likes of Roasted Pineapple Rum, Banana Butter, Cider Chipotle, and Pistachio Gin amongst some other bewildering ingredients, with most of the alcohol featured having been brewed by within the bar. One of the most replicable of their drinks is the Super Soaker, some of the ingredients may be tricky to come about, but we have the recipe, especially for avid cocktail fans. You’re sure to impress any party guests with this one.

Ingredients

35ml Watermelon infused Woodford Reserve

25ml Cocchi di Torino

1.5ml Campari sugar

3 drops Acid Phosphate

Orange twist (to garnish)

1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass.

2. Add three drops of acid phosphate and fill with ice.

3. Stir with a bar spoon and strain into a cocktail glass.
