Harkive want to know about how, where and why you listen to music on a single day.

Each year the project chooses a day to gather your music stories. This year it’s 21st July, aka today. To contribute to the project you can send Harkive a few words about what your listening to, provide an audio file or join the discussion Facebook and Twitter.

The aim is to archive the experiences of thousands of individuals to create a cohesive picture of the musical landscape on one day in time. No two people experience music in the same way so, with 5,000 stories already archived since 2013, it should be an insightful project.

Find out more on the Harkive website or join the discussion on Facebook and Twitter.
