A new book has been released that claims to prep Generation Y on how to thrive in a world screwed up by Baby Boomers.

Lucy’s Cohen’s ‘The Millennial Renaissance lays out an actionable, profitable plan for surviving the tough world Millennials have inherited from their parents.

With the housing market increasingly inaccessible, retirement seeming like a distant dream and university debt racking up business entrepreneur Cohen offers millennials an alternative to the path taken by the boomers—an innovative and attainable approach to both living well and realistically planning for retirement.

She says: “This book is supposed to be a fun, yet entirely serious and actionable blueprint for my generation to survive in the paradox of a billion baby boomers who not only destroyed normality for us, but also try to dictate our lives in line with theirs.

“In fact, when I had my first meeting with an advisor about a planned accountancy business, we were told the idea would never get off the ground. We now lead the market in the UK, USA and Australia; showing that millennials can disrupt – and disrupt hard.”

“This is probably the most frank and raw guide you’ll ever read on financial and retirement planning. However, the situation for my generation is somewhat urgent, so action is needed right away if we’re to thrive in the face of the adversity we all contend with. At the end of the day, it’s an uplifting book – and I hope it changes lives around the world!”

‘The Millennial Renaissance: How to Thrive for the Rest of Your Life, Even Though Boomers Have Screwed It Up for Us. A Retirement Plan for Millennials and Beyond’ is available now: http://amzn.to/2h9xlaC.
