Seattle surf-noir band La Luz have unveiled a new track, ‘Don’t Wanna Be Anywhere’, ahead of the release of their sophomore album.

‘Weirdo Shrine’ drops on 7th August, giving you plenty of time to learn the words in time for their European tour (dates below). The album promises to capture the band’s restless live energy, ‘a rawer, turbo-charged sequel that charts themes of loneliness, infatuation, obsession and death across eleven tracks’.

Heavy stuff, but combined with their heady, self-styled ‘surf-noir’ style expect some vibrant execution.
