Alex Lodge is a music supervisor for film, TV and advertising at Studio 32 Music.

A bit more of a positive mood this week kicking off with Darondo ‘ Didn’t I Treat You Right?’ and straight into the Pink Martini version of Mas Que Nada. I love this song, my all time favourite version is on the Madlib Medicine Show Flight To Brazil album, but sadly that’s not on Spotify so you’ll have to make do with this one. I’m completely obsessed with the Andy Shauf track ‘Wendell Walker’. It’s all really simple and clean but so moody and dark at the same time. Also, prizes to the first person who can tell us where they’ve heard ‘Crapa Pelada’ before. As usual, hit the blog for an archive of the previous 31 weeks. Happy listening…
