Jurgen Klopp has been long know for being an eccentric character, but last night he showed a different side to his personality.

Sporting a hoodie on the sidelines he watched his Borussia Dortmund team outclass Arsenal in the Champions League, registering their first win of the tournament as they look to better last year’s quarter-final finish. Twitter went mad for the German’s casual match day attire, one person saying they wouldn’t be  surprised if Klopp decides to wear bathroom slippers to the pitch someday! But it wasn’t just his attire that was turning heads.

His post-match celebrations were really something to behold. He walked the field in utter ecstasy hugging each and every one of his players. Although not all of his exchanges were pleasant. Here’s a few embraces of the more ‘tough love’ variety.
