Labour is now as short as 1/9 with bookmakers to win the next UK General Election.
Kier Starmer’s party are turning the political tide in the United Kingdom at a rate of knots and they have subsequently seen their odds for the next UK General Election shorten from 1/4 into 1/9 over the last six months of campaigning, suggesting they now have a 90 per cent chance of forming the next Government.
Following their milestone wins over the Conservatives in Tamworth and Mid-Bedfordshire, Labour have streaked clear at the top of the UK General election market, leaving the Tories in their wake at 11/2.
Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “After 15 years of Conservative leadership, the UK appears to be set on change as Labour are beginning to look a formality for the next UK General Election as we give them a 90 per cent chance of gaining victory having shortened their odds to 1/9 following their landmark victories in Tamworth and Mid-Bedfordshire.
“The Tories appear to be losing their grip on the nation and are as big as 11/2 to still be in power after the UK public have their say.
