Alex Lodge is a music supervisor for film, TV and advertising at Studio 32 Music.

2016 has really gotten its claws in now. New releases are starting to come thick and fast, including some very interesting re-releases. I’ve included a track from the Bread Woman project from Anna Holmer and Steve Moshier, a definite contender for re-release of the year. Also an unbelievable Moroccan funk cover of James Brown’s ‘Papa’s Got A Brand New Bag’ from 60’s psych/funk group Fadoul. Other highlights are the theme from The Revenant – I’ve been caning the soundtrack all week, Sakamoto has brought his magic to this one in a big way. Also check the track by Gossamer and get the album if you don’t have it already. As always, hit the blog or follow me on Spotify (Alex Lodge) for the archive of the previous weeks. Happy listening…
