With plenty of occasions to eat, drink and enjoy the sunshine throughout the Summer months, here’s our roundup of the best pop-up Restaurant and Bars that the Capital has on offer.

Dalston Yard Street Feast – Dalston

Open Fridays and Saturdays from 5pm until late September and located just seconds from Dalston Junction station, Street Feast brings some of London’s best food and drink to the area. With 20 traders on site, including Bleeker St, Smokestak, Mama’s Jerk and more, while Bars include the likes of Rum Shack, 8 Bars, and Tequila Treehouse. Be sure to arrive early for free admission, entry after 7pm costs £3.

Street Feast can be found at Dalston Yard, Hartwell Street, London, E8 3DU.

Frank’s – Peckham

Once a secretive bar situated atop a Peckham multi-story car park, Frank’s is now one of London’s most popular summertime haunts. Open between Tuesday and Sunday, the views are surprisingly exquisite; the menu comprises a range of bar snacks, Beers, Wines, and classic Cocktails, which include a Campari that Del-Boy would be proud of. Already popular amongst the locals, arrive early to avoid disappointment, alternatively the newly refurbished bar atop the nearby Bussey Building is also worth a visit.

Frank’s can be found at 10th Floor, Peckham Multi-Story Car Park, 95a Rye Lane, London, SE15 4ST.

Krug & Chips – Covent Garden

As a new take on a classic – Fish & Chips – Krug Champagne have teamed up with Michelin Starred Chef Tom Sellers for a special three-night pop-up in Covent Garden. Taking place over four nights, opening on July 8th, Krug & Chips will provide three-dishes for customers to choose from, plus a glass of Krug, all for the princely sum of £35.

Krug & Chips can be found at the East Piazza, Covent Garden, London, WC2E 8RF.

The Magic Roundabout – Old Street

With food and drink companies Burger Bear, Prawnography, and Relax on board, The Magic Roundabout has taken over the Old Street Roundabout. Set up by Burger Bear founder Tom Reany off the back of a successful Kickstarter campaign, the new venue will be open fro 7am-11pm daily throughout the summer. Prepare to enjoy some delicious food, alongside a selection of Beers, Wines, and Cocktails. Perfect to begin a heavy night out in East London.

The Magic Roundabout can be found at Old Street Roundabout, entrance through Old Street Station, London, EC1Y 1BE.

Oink – Shoreditch

As would be expected from the name, the menu at Oink is comprised of a wide variety of Pork products. Set to celebrate the most versatile (arguably) of Meats, the pop-up will take over the Café from Crisis on London’s Commercial Street, just a stone’s throw from Spitalfields Market, on Friday and Saturday nights from 7:30, through the summer, opening its doors for the first time on July 3rd. The menu contains a three-course set meal that includes a welcome drink, priced at £25 with additional drinks sold separately. Expect Pulled Pork Buns, crispy Crackling, Pig’s Cheek and Black Pudding Nuggets and more from this ultimate Pork experience.

Oink can be found at Café from Crisis, 66 Commercial Street, London, E1 6LT.

Vintage Salt Interiors 1

Vintage Salt – Oxford Street

Another rooftop pop-up, this time up on the roof at Selfridges, Vintage Salt is inspired by a Cornish fishing village. The restaurant’s all-day menu comprises a selection of mains priced between £14.50 and £28, with the likes of Sea Bass “a la plancha”, Camden Hells Fish & Chips, Cornish Lamb Chops, and more. But it’s the intriguing Desserts such as their “Chocolate Burger” and “Vintage Salt Cigar” which are most compelling in order to provide a haven that’s just metres from the busy shopping street.

Vintage Salt can be found at Selfridges & Co, 400 Oxford Street, London, W1A 1AB.
