Wait, what? Nadhim Zahawi - the former chancellor - says he used to run with Liverpool's firm, and once clashed with a police horse.
"Think what we could achieve for society in a world where the rich were keen to pay their fair taxes", Mike Galsworthy posted in response.
The former chancellor will take the role at the online retailer, which includes Very and Littlewoods.
Zahawi was revealed to have claimed expenses for heating his stables in 2013, money he promised to pay back.
He agreed to appear “for free and for any fees to be donated to charity”, apparently...
