The second phase of Royal Wharf, the residential centerpiece of the Royal Docks in East London, is now available for sale. Phase two, bordered by the park and riverfront, releases 760 new properties to the market.

Royal Wharf, by Oxley and Ballymore, will be a new neighborhood of 3,385 riverside properties, complete with a high street of shops, bars and restaurants, garden squares, two new parks and three pocket parks, new community infrastructure which will include a school and a 14,000 sq. ft. leisure facility, all with a 500m river frontage.

The first phase of Royal Wharf was launched in London in March 2014 and sold out in days. Prospective buyers now have a second opportunity to purchase in one of the capital’s most exciting new destinations. With a vibrant new district for London emerging in the Royal Docks, buyers will be moving to a place set to boom over the coming years and Royal Wharf provides achievable housing for Londoners. First residents will move into Royal Wharf in mid-2016, just two years after work began and in an unprecedented pace of development for London – the whole development will be completed by 2020.

The riverside properties, designed by Ballymore, comprise town houses, 2, 3 & 4 bed duplexes, 1, 2, 3 & 4 bed apartments and suites. Drawing on the Georgian heritage of London’s great squares and neighbourhoods, and the benefits of riverside living, Royal Wharf’s layout and design will maximise views over the cluster of town squares, Canary Wharf, the O2, and the Thames Barrier. Inside the apartments and townhouses there is a distinct blend of Georgian tradition with the best of modern living.

When complete, Royal Wharf will become a vibrant and bustling neighbourhood of 10,000 residents centred on Sovereign Place, the local market square, with shops and restaurants leading to a network of leafy streets and squares, a traditional high street and on to a riverfront promenade. When complete, 45% of the Royal Wharf development will be devoted to outside space, including a 2.4 acre riverside park, leafy garden squares, a riverfront promenade and a bustling Marylebone style high street, creating a vibrant neighborhood for residents.

Royal Wharf is one of the best connected places in London with excellent transport links from Pontoon Dock on the DLR and Canning Town on the Jubilee Line, the West End in 20 minutes, Canary Wharf in five and London City Airport in two. In 2018 a new Crossrail station at Custom House will mean that residents can reach Heathrow Airport in just 41 minutes and the West End in 15. In addition, the Emirates Air Line, London’s only cross-river cable car, is a short walk away.
