Quintain Keystone Developments Limited and Network Housing Group have agreed a new deal to provide affordable housing in Wembley Park.

The sale of one of its new Emerald Gardens residential blocks to Network Housing Group means 307 affordable units, including 285 in the completed Forum and Quadrant Houses, will be added to the Wembley Park site by August 2016.

Construction of Emerald Gardens commenced in April 2014 and the scheme will comprise of seven blocks surrounding an elevated, landscaped garden of almost an acre in size. The development provides a mix of tenures including discounted market sale units.

Charles Calverley, Residential Development Director, Quintain, said: “We are delighted to be working with Network Housing Group to bring forward these high-quality and affordable apartments. The regeneration of Wembley Park is moving ahead at pace and this announcement is the latest in a series of significant progress markers for the area, which have already included a refurbished arena, the opening of the London Designer Outlet and a new children’s play park amongst others.

“Quintain has long been committed to creating a vibrant and mixed-use urban community in Wembley, and this sale represents another important milestone.”

Vicky Savage, Group Development Director, Network Housing Group, said: “We are very pleased to have been selected by Quintain for this opportunity. This is a great example of how we can work as a successful partnership to provide much needed affordable housing for those who live in London. We look forward to continuing to work with our partners and the Greater London Authority to deliver fantastic new homes.”
