REPT BATTERO, an international vanguard in battery electric vehicle (BEV) and power storage, has further vitalised the European energy market with the inauguration of its pivotal European branch in Munich. This branch is not only symbolic of REPT BATTERO’s continued expansion but also its strategic alignment with Europe’s electrification drive. Aiming to address Europe’s growing clean energy demands, the branch will soon serve as a hub for sales, production, and technology. In 2022, REPT ranked third in energy storage battery shipments and plans to further support European energy storage needs.

At the European Branch Inauguration media briefing, Dr. Hui Cao emphasised the company’s dedication to promoting green transitions, achieving carbon neutrality, and bolstering sustainable energy worldwide, marking the European branch’s establishment as a testament to their commitment.

Concurrently, at the prestigious IAA MOBILITY Auto Expo, the firm unveiled a compelling carbon neutrality roadmap, underlining operational neutrality targets by 2026 and a broader value chain neutrality aim for 2035.

The two-staged sustainability plan not only streamlines production processes but also ensures an encompassing carbon-conscious lifecycle for their products. The company’s commitment to ecological innovation has already captured global attention. A series of accolades, including the Ecovadis Bronze Medal, an active role in the United Nations Global Compact, and the esteemed 2023 Sustainability Contribution Award, all echo their unwavering dedication and achievement.

Also at IAA, REPT presented their pioneering “Wending” technology that revolutionises battery cell design, achieving superior energy density for enhanced range, durability, and safety. This advancement positions electric vehicles at the forefront and provides scalable industrial energy storage solutions. In April 2023, two “Wending” battery models were unveiled at the Shanghai International Auto Show, compatible with both lithium iron phosphate and ternary system cells, achieving a staggering range of up to 1000 kilometers. The showcased “Wending” 650-PACK battery offers a range of over 700 kilometers with improved safety due to the nickel-cobalt-manganese ternary cells. These batteries gained global recognition in Bali, powering the G20 summit’s official vehicles.

REPT BATTERO also is in collaboration with European giants like STELLANTIS, Smart, and Volvo. With plans to amplify production to 150 GWh by 2025, REPT BATTERO is set to revitalise the European battery industry.

REPT BATTERO’s “Wending” battery models and their unwavering commitment to carbon neutrality at the IAA Expo took center stage, capturing substantial media attention. By focusing on maximising cell space utilisation, enhancing production speed, and fine-tuning equipment efficiency, REPT BATTERO provided a compelling narrative of sustainable manufacturing. This dedication to integrating renewable energy into their operations not only positions them as a leader in sustainability but also sets a benchmark for the industry.

The significant media attention during the event highlighted REPT BATTERO’s prominent role in Europe’s transition to a sustainable future. Esteemed media outlets, including ZDF Morning News, L’usine Nouvelle, and Autobild, expressed keen interest, engaging in interviews with REPT’s representatives.

In a nutshell, REPT BATTERO’s emphatic entry into the European realm, augmented by their determined sustainability ethos, forecasts a transformative invigoration in Europe’s energy narrative.
