The White House has sparked condemnation after launching a games platform where people can play MAGA-themed arcade games about deporting people and building a border wall.
Ever since Donald Trump returned became president for the second time, the output on the White House’s social media channels has been completely and utterly unhinged.
From AI-generated content to meme posts, it’s difficult to believe this is the official account of the most powerful administration in the world.

But their latest viral stunt might just take the biscuit for how insane and insensitive it is.
The Trump administration has launched Arcade, a page on the White House website where visitors can play five retro-style video games.
Each game is themed around a different part of Trump’s presidency. This includes a snake-style game where players have to chase migrants depicted with different skin tones along a grid representing the border with Mexico and a Tetris-knock-off all about building the border wall to “protect from the coming horde.”
The games have been roundly slammed by critics.
Amerika Garcia Grewal, co-director of the Frontera Federation in Eagle Pass said the games made her feel “sick”, telling the AFP News Agency: “They’ve been playing games with people’s lives for years, now they’ve made a video game of what they’re doing.”
Adriana Jasso, programme coordinator for AMIGOS San Diego Community, who works at the border, said the arcade-style games showed a fundamental “lack of seriousness” from the administration.
The games have also been condemned on social media, with several commenting their anger under the White House’s post.
Someone else wrote on X: “The official White House account is dropping cutesy little arcade games about ICE while they’re out here terrorizing children and families.”
Another said: “We are not a serious country. We are a bunch of idiots! The White House just made an “arcade” where kids can build a wall and deport people. Absolutely embarrassing!”
