Hancock gets SAS roasting and everyone says the same thing

"I think you’ve just said what MILLIONS of people have wanted to say to him for years", one person said after watching the clip.

Matt Hancock received the grilling of a lifetime during his first day of SAS: Who Dares Wins, and literally everyone on social media was here for it.

The former health secretary, fresh from picking up a juicy cheque for his appearance on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!, travelled to Vietnam for the latest series of the Channel 4 show, which puts celebrities through military manoeuvres.

Keen to make an impression, the programme’s newest recruit, British Army veteran Chris Oliver, tore into Hancock during his first interview.

Oliver joined the military at 16 and served within the elite Special Boat Service on operations to Sierra Leone, Northern Ireland, Oman, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Seemingly, he has picked up a no-nonsense attitude along the way, which resulted in this glorious stand-off:

And if it’s put you in the mood for more of this sort of thing (of course it’s put you in the mood for more of this sort of thing!) then there’s also this:

Reactions to the footage were quick to flood in, with Jemma Forte calling for the Army vets to host Question Time.

Claire Field said “I think you’ve just said what MILLIONS of people have wanted to say to him for years”, while others asked for a Matt Hancock every week!
