The former actor turned politician was suspended from the channel over comments he made about a female journalist.
On Wednesday morning, Wootton apologised for a “very unfortunate lapse in judgment” in a follow-up post to an earlier apology.
Fox made remarks about Ava Evans, the political correspondent for online news site Joe, on GB News on Tuesday night.
Both GB News and Dan Wootton have apologised over the incident, which was broadcast on GB News on Tuesday night.
"It's takes a lot to shock me, it really does, but this is genuinely, jaw-dropping and awful", one person said on the back of the comments.
Laurence Fox made a series of remarks about Ava Evans, the political correspondent for online news site Joe.
The businessman is set to be replaced in the role at both companies by his son Lachlan.
