Watch: Video slamming BBC’s Andrew Marr over his Brexit reporting goes viral

Peter Stefanovic, whose recent viral video has been seen well over 20 million times, has released another clip that is also getting a huge amount of traction.

This time he is slamming Andrew Marr for his coverage of Brexit, or lack of it.

It comes as Brexit was trending on Twitter, again, this morning following news that Tim Martin has called for more EU migration to help tackle the shortage of bar staff working in the UK.

The Wetherspoons boss, who campaigned for Brexit and even printed pro-leave material on 1.9 million beer mats, urged prime minister Boris Johnson to introduce a “reasonably liberal immigration system” controlled by Britain rather than the European Union.

The mind boggles.

Andrew Marr

Anyway back to the Marr video.

Peter tweeted the video on Sunday after the Andrew Marr show aired on BBC One.

He wrote: “‘We are going to have 15,000 checks per week of goods coming from Great Britain to Northern Ireland’ #Marr fails to remind viewers Boris Johnson sold his Brexit deal to the public & Parliament on the PROMISE there would be NO CHECKS on goods! RT if you think that’s important.”

Marr was joined by Edwin Poots, the new DUP leader.

He told Marr that the Protocol will lead to “15,000 checks per week of goods coming from Great Britain to Northern Ireland.”

The clip cuts away to Stefanovic, who tells the camera, it is “simply incomprehensible that during this interview Marr didn’t point out to viewers that Boris Johnson sold his Brexit deal to the public, and parliament, on the promise there would be no checks on goods going between Great Britain and Northern Ireland.”

It then shows to the PM being interviewed by by Sophy Ridge on Sky, where he tells the presenter that there will be no checks between ‘GB and NI and NI and GB.”

When the video returns to Peter he tells the viewers: “When will the PM be held accountable for this?”

He followed up with a tweet yesterday: ‘Since #BBC broadcasted this interview on Sunday has a single news show pointed out Boris Johnson sold his Brexit deal to the public & Parliament on the promise there would be NO CHECKS on goods coming from Great Britain to Northern Ireland?”
