A woman was slashed across the bottom by a knifeman who calmly strolled away.

The shocking incident left the victim, a woman in her 20s, bleeding from her rear.

Met Police released shocking CCTV in a bid to track down the attacker, who struck at around 8:45pm on October 28, in Westminster, central London.

She was slashed across her bottom with a sharp object that left her with superficial wounds that required hospital treatment.

Police believe the incident was a random attack and are urging anyone who can identify the man featured in the CCTV to come forward.

He is believed to be of medium build and was wearing a big jacket and a hat.
