This is the moment an elderly man was arrested by armed police at the Cheltenham Festival – on suspicion of carrying a knife.
The tall ageing man with grey hair was seen being handcuffed then marched away by three cops during the horse event on Wednesday morning.
A spokesman for Gloucestershire Police said: ”Officers responded to reports a man was in possession of a knife at Cheltenham Racecourse at 10.30am today.
”A man has been arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a bladed article in a public place.”
