Outspoken Katie Hopkins turned up to the Conservative Party Conference this morning in the wedding dress from her first marriage.

The raucous attention seeker donned her wedding outfit to promote a conference fringe event to take place this afternoon on the subject of divorce.

The panel is entitled Sex, Lies and Irreconcilable Differences: Time For No-Fault Divorce? and is being run by the Campaign for Family Law Reform.

Every woman should still fit her first wedding dress. Don’t sell your hubby a diamond & turn into a doughnut #CPC17 https://t.co/tLayKhRJx8 pic.twitter.com/pfTHwLIn1h

— Katie Hopkins (@KTHopkins) October 2, 2017

Alongside Hopkins Nick Ferrari will chair the debate with Robert Courts and Richard Bacon also taking part.

But her stunt to promote the talk didn’t go down well with everyone. I think this man represents most of us here.

This man’s reaction to seeing Katie Hopkins at Tory Party Conference is exceptional. #cpc17 pic.twitter.com/U6UKQCNk0a

Journalism in Britain is under threat. The government is becoming increasingly authoritarian and our media is run by a handful of billionaires, most of whom reside overseas and all of them have strong political allegiances and financial motivations.

Our mission is to hold the powerful to account. It is vital that free media is allowed to exist to expose hypocrisy, corruption, wrongdoing and abuse of power. But we can't do it without you.
