Five teenage boys and one female have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing.

Five boys aged 15, 16, 17 and 24-year-old woman, all from Canvey, Essex, remain in custody for questioning following the incident which happened 11.50pm last Friday (July 13.)

The arrests follow an incident where a boy, aged 16, suffered three stab wounds after leaving a party, on May Avenue, Canvey, Essex.

He remains in hospital for his injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.
