Having previously contributed regular columns every two or three days for the paper, Pierce has not written an article since July 13.
There are questions from some over the nature of his reported departure from the Mail, with neither Pierce or the paper having publicly commented.
Journalist Benjamin Butterworth, senior reporter at the i Paper, asked in a post on X: “Why did Andrew Pierce suddenly leave the Daily Mail without so much as a goodbye to colleagues of 17 years?”
“Must be extremely serious,” he added.
His reported departure from the Mail comes after Pierce confirmed he was leaving Good Morning Britain in December last year.
The London Economic has reached out to the Daily Mail for comment.
