Snoop Dogg smoked weed at the White House

Snoop Dogg – are we calling him that again? Wasn’t he Snoop Lion for a time? Why was that? We’ll never know. I mean, a simple Google would tell us, but let’s not get bogged down in the specifics. Anyway, Snoop Dogg was on a talk show in America recently and he mentioned that the weirdest place he’s ever been high is the White House. As in, the President’s actual abode. Here, FYI, I’m talking about being high on marijuana cigarettes, as D O double G very publicly indulges in  said pastime.

Snoop also went on to insinuate that he smoked weed inside the actual White House as well, after a little prodding from Andy Cohen, the presenter of the show. He goes on to say that he can’t wait for Obama to get out of office in 2016 so that he can talk to him about ‘what really, really, really, went down’. I’m not sure what we’re supposed to take from that. I hugely doubt Obama got high with Snoop Dogg in the White House. But, I mean, anything is possible. Right?

Taylor Swift, obviously

I mean, there’s just so much to say. I’m hyper aware that this column could legitimately be a Taylor Swift column and I’d have plenty of fodder to make it, if not daily, then hourly. Taylor’s most recent exploits are centred around the Billboard Music Awards, which took place on Sunday in Las Vegas, at which Swifty won eight awards. Eight! Have you seen how thin she is? It’s a miracle she didn’t topple over. BUT as her new video, which debuted on Monday, showed us – she may be thin but she’s completely badass.

The Bad Blood music video premiered on Vevo less than 24 hours after Taylor’s big win and showed us just why she’s the winner that she is. The video features a slew of Taylor’s famous friends including (but not limited to) Lena Dunham, Cara Delevigne, Ellie Goulding and Selena Gomez. There are few men in it, in fact perhaps only one, and the girls kick ass with various superhero aliases.

Also she basically confirmed she’s going out with Calvin Harris by kissing and hugging him when she won some of her awards, and nothing is better. Unless, you know, I was going out with Calvin Harris. Or Taylor Swift.

Jaden Smith. *sigh*

Remember when Kim and Kanye got married? Of course you do. The media made sure it was burned onto our retinas for all of time. So, cast your minds back to that beautiful Firenze afternoon (or morning) and mentally scan the guests. Ah yes, so many famous faces. So much love, so much… why is that CHILD wearing a white Batman costume?

That, my friends, is Jaden Smith, son of Will Smith and self-proclaimed caped crusader. If a 15 year old or whatever age he is wore a white batman suit to MY wedding, when (allegedly) my own brother had flown home because he didn’t like what he was supposed to wear, I would be so pissed off. So pissed off. But clearly that wasn’t impressed on young Jaden, who wore the suit AGAIN to his prom. Evidence of this is on Instagram. Smith decided against the mask but wore a full white Batman costume with a cape to his prom. I mean. Sure. Fine. That’s just fine.
