Fat Tony’s to remain at Bar Termini Centrale, indefinitely

Changes are coming to Bar Termini Centrale, the renowned Marylebone bar from Tony Conigliaro.

Following the success of a two-month pop-up residency, Fat Tony’s will continue to operate from Bar Termini Centrale, on an indefinite basis. Launched by chef James French, Fat Tony’s has captured the attention of Londoners with a menu of classic Italian dishes, with a prominent focus on handmade pasta (all made fresh on-site, daily). Committed to classic dishes and traditional Italian flavours, the Fat Tony’s menu features the likes of Conchiglie rigate with Italian sausage, mascarpone and rapini; Bicatini cacio e pepe; and that pappardelle with Longhorn shin ragú.

Moreover, with the gradual arrival of the Summer, Bar Termini Centrale will also launch a new look Campari Terrace on Friday 4th May, in time for the early May Bank Holiday weekend. Operating throughout the summer, the Campari Terrace, just off Oxford Street, will have space to seat 20 covers and feature olive trees and laurel bushes, plus light blankets and heaters for late evenings. The Campari Terrace menu will consist of five classic cocktails, all priced at £10, including a Campari Old Fashioned (Campari, raspberry and bitters), a Sbagliato (Campari, Cinzano and Prosecco), and the Milano-Torino (Campari, Cinzano and orange).

A new ‘Mille Lire’ drinks menu will also be served exclusively on the Campari Terrace from 5pm – 7pm daily, featuring drinks each priced at £4. Named after the Italian thousand lire note, the menu is designed to offer an affordable aperitivo fix and consists of four cocktails designed to be taken as quick liquid refreshment. This menu will feature the Diavolino (Dolin dry vermouth, toasted watermelon, lemon thyme syrup and soda) or La Ballerina, made with Cocchi Americano vermouth, Merlet apricot liqueur and lemon syrup.

The full Fat Tony’s menu is available Tuesday – Saturday, from midday to 9pm throughout May, and then from Monday – Saturday beginning on June 1st. Tables can be booked via bar-termini-centrale.com.
