Bar Antione, and it’s parent the wonderful restaurant Pavyllon, are old favourites of ours, and so this Bastille Day (14th July) we are happy to hear Bar Antoine is inviting guests to embrace the French ‘joie de vivre’ with an alfresco celebration from 6pm.
Set against the backdrop of Bar Antoine’s Côte d’Azur-inspired terrace, celebrate the very best of France. Experience a barbecue feast created by Michelin-starred chefs, free-flowing Maison Minuty rosé, and leisurely rounds of pétanque – a traditional pastime popular across southern France.
The curated set menu is an extremely reasonable £65pp and is designed for sharing and indulgence. Begin with vegetable fritto misto, beef tartare on specialty toast, and the signature Pissaladière, before settling in and watch the BBQ take centre stage. For the main courses, can choose from either a 150g Wagyu Flank Steak, fragrant grilled Shrimp Skewers or a Barbecued Flatatouille – all served with seasonal sides. To round off the meal, indulge in a refreshing Strawberry Salad or choose decadence with Profiteroles.
Free-flowing Maison Minuty rosé (£25pp) for 90 minutes is also available to elevate the celebration (and potentially cause regret in the morning….).
Inspired by Bar Antoine’s take on French classics, the Savoir Boire cocktail list pairs perfectly, such as the popular Cornichon Martini and the Peach & Mustard Margarita, as well as refreshing spritzes for keeping cool.
