The Duke of Sussex’s memoir Spare is among the most popular books of the last decade – according to a new list by Goodreads.

The website, which enables readers to enter their own reviews, revealed the 76 top reads from the last 10 years, determined by how many members had marked it as ‘read’, ‘currently reading’, or ‘want to read’.

Novels, self-help books, historical fiction, thrillers and memoirs from well-known writers from across the UK, US, Ireland, Japan and more all feature on the list.

Hit thriller The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins took the second top spot (the book was turned into a film starring Emily Blunt), while Delia Owens’s Where The Crawdads Sing (later turned into a film starring Daisy Edgar-Jones) ranked third.
