A British Asian online lifestyle magazine has launched a new service aimed at helping businesses to recruit from diverse backgrounds.

DESIblitz has launched the jobs site with the aim of assisting employers to harness the benefits of having a diverse workforce.

The new website highlights vacancies to a niche BME audience of over three million visitors yearly, typically aged between 18-34 years old, of which 48 per cent are female.

Indi Deol, Director said: “The UK is considered to be one of the most diverse nations in the world and yet this rich diversity is not always reflected in the workplace. There are numerous reports, backed by extensive research, on the business benefits of diversity, inclusion and equality but for many companies this is not reflected in their staffing levels.”
