If you’re familiar with Norwegian telly you’ll probably recognise vocalist and DJ Mariann Rosa as a judge from talent show ‘Idol’. If not, you might just have heard her previous single, the unforgettable ‘Banjo For My Bitches’, or caught her fronting thrash pop band Surferosa.
Mariann has been pretty busy, then. Still, the ‘Best Dressed Norwegian Artist’ still found time to pen ‘Frikkin’ Fantastic’, a slice of futuristic electro pop released via Popjoy records on 5th October. Think Charlie XCX meets Robyn, with a surprise half time breakdown. Check it out below.
To celebrate the single’s release Marianna will be playing the Underbelly, London, on 10th October with a host of other electro synth acts (New Opera Hero, Common Youth, Golden Hawks).
