A new dimension in urban living

Croydon is hitting the radar, with multiple regeneration projects set to increase the number of homes and improve the area and transport links.

The population in Croydon is set to grow to 445,000 by 2031, and is already London’s most populous borough, with culture at the heart of its regeneration.

The growth zone, a partnership between Central Government, Croydon Council, the Greater London Authority and Transport for London is to finance and deliver a 12-year £520 million programme of work, which is essential to facilitate growth in Croydon town centre. Projects are to support a drive to becoming a smart city.

Croydon has good transport links to Central London, Gatwick Airport and the South coast – ideal for commuters. It also has – outside of the West End – the most shops in one location than anywhere else in London.

So, it is no surprise that new homes are on the rise, such as the new iconic residential development from Inspired Homes – Innova – in the heart of Croydon. It redraws the lines and dismantles design convention to deliver a new dimension in urban living for first time buyers or those looking to move home.

Complete with one- or two-bedroom apartments, it features engineered hardwood flooring, designer kitchens with granite worktops, German-made Villeroy and Boch sanitaryware and Hansgrohe taps, porcelain bathroom tiles, Nest Learning thermostats and 1GB Hyperoptic broadband. For apartments at this spec, the 15 showrooms furnished by Manor Interiors show how you can use every inch of space wisely without compromising on luxury.

A nice touch is the ground floor lounge-style co-working space and 9th floor sky terrace, flexibly designed to host open-air cinema or live music events.

Ideal for first time buyers trying to get onto the property ladder, they can take advantage of the Help to Buy scheme, with deposits as little as £14,250 for an apartment at the starting price of £285,000.
